Hi, my name is Dan Kennedy and I'm an online personal trainer. A few years back I had a client named John come to me, he worked relatively high up in the corporate world which is a high pressure environment. Long hours, client lunches and business trips made it hard for him to stay on top if his health and fitness. Regardless of his situation he'd been training in the gym 4-5 days per week (thinking he knew what he was doing), chopping and changing from one fad-diet to another (usually meaning he wasn't eating anywhere near enough to fuel his body) and seeing absolutely no results which was causing him to get increasingly frustrated. Eventually he got to the point where he was spending endless amounts of money on gym memberships, supplements that were absolutely useless and had lost all direction causing him to binge eat and barely train. By now he thought that nothing he tried was going to work and that he'd never have the 6-pack abs and big arms that he'd always dreamed of having. Basically he felt good in a suit but insecure at the beach without a top on.
Do you hate entering the gym but not knowing what you should be doing to achieve the results you're after? Have you ever dreamed of waking up in the morning and loving what you see in the mirror? Have you ever felt that if you could get a stronger in the gym and lose a bit of body fat that you'd be in a better space mentally as well as physically?
Well John definitely felt this way, that was until we sat down and come up with a plan that would have him using an easy to follow nutritional protocol which would allow him to continue eating the foods he enjoyed along with being able to eat out, following a flexible but effective training program with minimal cardio and keeping in daily contact with myself along with others guys in the same boat as he was to keep him accountable. This is exactly what he needed, something simple but highly effective and most importantly enjoyable.
If John hadn't have made that lifestyle change there's absolutely no doubt that he would have been increasing his risk of heart disease and/or diabetes in the long term. Not to mention he was becoming less productive at work, feeling increasingly more lethargic throughout the day and unable to spend as much quality time with his family and friends due to feeling so tired outside of work.
Instead, John now trains at a high intensity 4-5 times per week and is stronger than he's ever been, eats high quality foods that he enjoys every day, spends less time at work due to increased productivity in the time that he's actually in the office, has increased his testosterone levels higher than they've been for the last 10 years, has a visible 6-pack, does less than 30 minutes of cardio per week and most importantly has increased his knowledge on training and nutrition to the point where he now no longer needs me!
